Rasakondalar Matriculation
Higher Secondary School

The Managing Trustees of ‘The Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief’ decided to start a matriculation school to give option to the children to study either under State Board or Matriculation syllabus.

Mani Higher Secondary School, situated in 7.7. acres were separated into two parts as 4.4 acres and 3.3 acres. 3.3 acres was allotted to Rasakondalar Matriculation School and the building work was started during the year 2002.

Four storied building was completed during the year 2004 and started functioning during the year 2005 by obtaining ‘Opening Permission’ No. 3406/A/2002 dt. 07.01.2024 from the Director of Matriculation Schools.

The Higher Secondary sections were introduced during the year 2011 and permission was granted by the Directorate of Tamil Nadu Matriculation School by order No. No.232/ 3/2011 dt. 25.01.2011. The name Rasakondalar Matriculation School’ was consequently changed as ‘Rasakondalar Matriculation Higher Secondary School’.

Establishment of the School

During the year 2023-24, 3.3 acres land of Rasakondalar Matriculation was separated into two parts as 1.2 acres and 2.1 acres. 2.1 acres was transferred to the Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief for construction of a Nursing College and now Rasakondalar Matriculation School is functioning in an area of 1.2 acres.

Rasakondalar Matriculation Higher Secondary School is now functioning with twelve classes i.e. from LKG to 12th standard with one section each, with 470 students, 20 teachers and 10 non-teaching employees.
